Well, the American government is sending out those tax rebates to help stimulate an economy they screw up. I figure this is a good opportunity to splurge and finally buy a second next gen consul: Xbox360. Never thought I'd actually touch that air conditioner sized chunk of hardware, but there's actually a fair amount of games for it I'd be interested in playing now. And most titles are pretty much universal with PS3 (which should come encrusted with diamonds) and PC (who's games require upgrading hardware that won't exist for months).

cynical ramblings aside, can anyone recommend some games to go along with it?

Besides that lackluster shooter named after an angles headpiece. I've tried that and am now convinced the critics that give it four stars are the same dope addicts that thought Revenge of the Sith was an epic tragedy.
